On the 6th of June 2002, Proprietors, Chris Clemson & Russell Hiscox established Clemson Hiscox & Co which incorporates C & H Merchandise.

Clemson Hiscox & Co provides a full Livestock Marketing Service as both Chris & Russell are accredited AuctionsPlus Assessors. Fat & Store Sales are conducted at the Walgett Sale Yards (season permitting). Paddock Sales to all Feedlots and Processors can be arranged while Fat & Store Stock can be consigned to Sale Yards in the Eastern States through their strong involvement with the Rural Marketing Agents (RMA). The RMA has a strength of 86 head offices, and a further 36 branch offices, throughout the Eastern and Western states of Australia and is a fast growing network of the best private agents in the country.


Chris Clemson has over 34 years experience as an Agent working throughout NSW. Previously employed by Elders, he has worked in Bombala, Wee Waa, Moree & Quirindi before taking on the position as Branch Manager at Elders Walgett. Chris is married to Jane and they have a son and a daughter.

Russell Hiscox has been in the Agency field for 29 years. Employed by Landmark Armidale, Crookwell and Gunnedah he went on to become the Senior Livestock Salesman with Dalgety Wickman Ryan at Walgett. Russell is married to Cath and they have 3 daughters. He is an active Board Member of the RMA.

Judy Campbell has recently returned working for us in 2015. She previously has worked here for 7 years when the business open in 2002. Judy will be managing the majority of the Residential Real Estate as well as head of administration. Judy is married to David and has 1 son, 2 daughter and 3 grandchildren.


Subsidiary company C & H Merchandise provides an extensive range of Rural Merchandise including Chemicals, Animal Health and Gardening supplies just to name a few. If required, delivery of large Chemical & Fencing orders can be arranged.


Scott Hawkins is a Walgett local and has 10 years experience in the Rural merchandise industry. He has an Advanced Diploma in Farm Management and comes from a rural background. Scott and his partner Karyn have a daughter and 3 sons.
